Who is Deb Groesser the artist? Well, she loves to be painting.....

If you want to see a happy person, just watch her when she is painting.  She gets in a "zone"....a wonderful place of creativity and joy and total peace.

Watercolor is her medium - it's exciting, unpredictable, challenging and fun.  She says you can't quite control watercolor...it has a mind of it's own...but you can help direct and lead it.  There is a spontenaiety and freshness with watercolor that you just can't get with any other medium.  There is a pureness...watercolors are like transparent jewels.  You paint and splash water and color, you imagine and play, you contemplate and study, you experiment and try new techniques... and then you see what kind of wonderful surprises you have when you're done.  She says it's just magic!

Teaching is another of her passions.  She instructs students of all levels in watercolor painting and gets a real high watching the "aha" moments happen as her students find success and joy and unravel the mysteries and magic of art and watercolor.  She is enthusiastic about sharing and passing on the gift of art with others. 

Deb grew up in Southern California and now resides in Lake Almanor and Palm Desert.  Deb enjoys golfing, traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.  A painter for over thirty-five years, she has worked in acrylics, pastels, pen & ink, and other mediums.  A previous successful gallery owner for many years, she's now opened the Blue Goose Fine Art Gallery in Chester, CA and continues to devote time to painting and teaching.
