“Beginning Watercolor” – August 21 & 22

For those of you who can’t make the April class, this is your chance to get started!  "No Experience Necessary!"  In a fun and positive environment, you will learn the fundamentals of watercolor with successful results.  As an artist for more than 35 years, Deb has taught hundreds of beginning students to see the world through new eyes and catch the excitement of watercolor.  This class covers paints, brushes, papers, washes, wet-into-wet, dry brush, special techniques, exploding color, glazing and much more.  Always wanted to try watercolor?  Now is the time to get your feet wet...the water's fine!  Also, a good 'refresher' course if you’re looking for a creative boost back into watercolor.

“Yes, You Can Draw!” – September 11 & 12

      Instructor:  Bill Peters
This popular instructor from Quincy will teach you how to draw, even if you don't think you can!  This class is geared toward the beginner, but even experienced students will have lots to gain.  The words "FUN" and    "Bill Peters" are synonymous.  Bill will focus on line, blind contour, contrast and drawing from nature.  Pencil, pen and ink, and charcoal will all be covered.  If you say you can't draw, he will prove you really can!  Long lines of students always form for Bill's college classes.  Wildlife, especially birds, are a common subject of his artwork, and he has many loyal collectors.  Come experience this positive, enjoyable drawing workshop!

"More Fun With Watercolor" -Sept.18 & 19

Discover a new found freedom!  We'll cover a whole spectrum of tips and techniques so you can achieve more success with your paintings.  This workshop puts the 'water' in 'watercolor'!  Loosen up your mind, arms, and attitude and get ready to rumble!  The paint and water will fly and the results can be amazing.  We’ll also paint in more controlled methods, combining the two for successful results.  Demos and individual help will be given each day.  Framing tips will be covered so your work will have that professional touch.  Come enjoy the amazing world of watercolor!
